Understanding FCR
Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) is the single most important metric in aquaculture profitability.
What is FCR?
FCR = Total Feed Given (kg) ÷ Total Weight Gain (kg). A lower FCR means your feed is converting to biomass more efficiently - reducing feed costs per kg of harvest.
